Max Kruse Racing signs Leuchter for TCR Germany

The newly-founded Max Kruse Racing announced its participation in the ADAC TCR Germany in 2018. The team, owned by Werder Bremen’s football player Max Kruse, will field one Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR for Benjamin Leuchter who won the TCR class in the 2017 VLN and the 2018 24H Dubai.
Kruse intends to use the racing programme to promote drive safety courses amongst his fellow professional footballers.

VW Motorsport director Sven Smeets said: “Sport stirs up emotions, for football and motorsport alike. We are delighted that the Max Kruse Racing team has opted for a Golf GTI TCR and we wish them to have a successful maiden season.”
