Gianni Morbidelli has been appointed as TCR official driver for the Balance of Performance test at Valencia, alongside Daniel Lloyd.
Due to the number of cars that are taking part in the two-day test on the Circuito Ricardo Tormo, a second driver was needed; Lloyd and Morbidelli will share driving duties, making stints in the thirteen cars from eleven different brands.
Morbidelli is arguably one of the most experienced TCR drivers; he took part in the TCR International Series from 2015 to 2017, claiming 6 race wins and 6 pole positions; he was classified 4th in the 2015 Drivers’ Championship and 6th in 2016 and 2017.
