A ten-kilo break for the SEAT and Honda cars

A ten-kilo break for the SEAT and Honda cars

03 June 2016

The Balance of Performance has been slightly revised by the TCR technical department on the eve of this weekend’s International Series event at the Salzburgring.
The heaviest cars of the lot, the Honda Civic TCR and SEAT León TCR, were given a 10-kilo reduction; they must now carry on board 30 extra kilos instead of 40, for a total running weight of 1315 kilos, including the driver.
The weights of the other cars remain the same: 1285 kg for the Volkswagen Golf Gti TCR (the minimum weight as per the Technical Regulations), 1265 kg for the Alfa Romeo Giulietta TCR (-20 kg) and 1250 kg for the SEAT León Cup Racer fitted with the DSG gearbox.
These weights will be also applied in the next events of the TCR regional and national series.
