Audi beats Honda by 4 seconds after 3 hours at Okayama

The third round of the Japanese Super Taikyu ended with a final sprint for the victory in the TCR class between the Audi RS 3 LMS entered by Waimarama Kizuna Racing Team and the Floral Racing with Uematsu Honda Civic Type R.
After three hours of close racing at Okayama, the Audi crossed the finishing line only four seconds before the Honda.
The winning car was shared by the usual quartet of Katsumasa Chiyo, 'Kizuna', Riki Okusa and Hironobu Yasuda, while Tadao Uematsu, Yuji Ide and Shintaro Kawabata took turns at the wheel of the Civic that had been eight tenths faster than the Audi in in Qualifying. 
The third car in the class, the Audi run by Rebellion Team Mars for Masanobu Kato, Masato Shimoyama and Taketoshi Matsui finished two laps behind.
In the championship standings, the Waimarama Kizuna team leads by eight points over Floral Racing.
The next round of will be a 5-hour race at Twin Ring Motegi on November 21/22.
