BoP changes for the DSG cars and the Golf C-ECU

26 April 2019

The WSC Group’s technical department issued a new Balance of Performance bulletin with immediate application.

The main changes concern the DSG cars that were all made 20 kilos heavier and 10 mm higher.
The Audi RS 3 LMS cars may run now on a minimum weight of 1300 kg and a ride height of 80mm; the CUPRA and Volkswagen Golf GTI on 1280kg and 70mm.
The Golf GTI cars equipped with the TCR common ECU – for the time being only the four vehicles competing in WTCR – received a weight break of 10 kilos going down to a minimum weight of 1295 kg.

A few changes have been also made in the Maximum Boost Pressure/Engine revs table.
