Costas Papantonis makes a clean sweep in Dubai

Mouhritsa Racing's Costas Papantonis, the reigning TCR champion of the United Arab Emitares, claimed two more class victories in the UAE Procar Championship's rounds 5 and 6.
Saturday in Dubai, Papantonis and his CUPRA run by Dragon Racing beat the sister car of Alexandros Annivas and completed a clean sweep of six victories over the six races held so far.
Annivas, a rookie in TCR, is now getting more familiar with his CUPRA DSG and qualified only six tenths behind the CUPRA SEQ of his more experienced teammate; during both races the Mouhritsa Racing duo delivered some thrilling fights, swapping the leadership, but eventually Papantonis was able to create a small gap.
The series will resume at Dubai again on January 17th for rounds 7 and 8.
