Drago Corse and Rio Shimono to race in 2020 TCR Japan

Drago Corse will join the TCR Japan championship in 2020. The team owned by Super GT driver and former WTCC competitor Ryo Michigami will enter a Honda Civic Type R FK8 for Rio Shimono who will be the first lady driver in the series.
Shimono, 19-years-old, has raced in the 2019 Japanese Super-FJ single-seater series, scoring two race wins.
“Touring cars may have a lot of contact, which is different from single seater competitions, but I want to be strong there. And I want to be recognized regardless of the gender,” said Shimono.
