Jimmy Clairet loses third place on the grid for underweight

06 November 2020

Jimmy Clairet was stripped of his third position in Qualifying after his car was found underweight during the post-session technical checks.
The weight of the Peugeot was 1175.5 kg, two kilos lighter than its minimum weight.
As a result, the French driver was excluded from the Qualifying and will be placed at the back of the grid for both tomorrow’s races.
This meant that Mat’o Homola and Mehdi Bennani will start Race 1 from P3 and P4 respectively, while the front row of the top-eight reversed grid will see John Filippi on pole position and Dániel Nagy alongside him.
