TCR Germany resumes at the Nürburgring

The ADAC TCR Germany championship resumes for its second event at the Nürburgring, where Norbert Michelisz and Swedish siblings Andreas and Jessica Bäckman will join the field as guest stars. They will all drive Hyundai i30 N cars; Michelisz's will be run by the Team Engstler while the Bäckman will race for Target Competition-run in preparation of their full campaign in TCR Europe.
As far as the championship is concerned, Nico Gruber (Team Engstler, Hyundai i30 N) has emerged as the first leader after the season opener at the Lausiztring, where he won the first race. 
Gruber has a four-point margin ahead of Race 2 winner Dominik Fugel (Profi Car, Honda Civic) and his own teammate Antti Buri, while 2018 champion Harald Proczyk (HP Racing International, Hyundai i30 N) lies fourth two further points adrift. 
The races will be streamed live at www.tcr-series.com: Race 1, Saturday at 11:50 local time (CEST) and Race 2, Sunday at 11:25 local time (CEST).
