TCR Scandinavia will crown its champion at Knutstorp

Saturday at Knutstorp, TCR Scandinavia will crown its 2020 champion in what promises to be a thrilling final battle.
80 points are still at stake between the Qualifying session and the three races, with the first three drivers in the standings covered by only 17 points.
Last weekend, Tobias Brink (Brink Motorsport, Audi RS 3 LMS) scored a double victory at Mantorp Park, leaping on top of the standings with 153 points. His closest rival, 14 points behind, is the former Touring Car world champion Rob Huff (Lestrup Racing, Volkswagen Golf GTI) who hasn’t won a race yet but has showed outstanding consistency by finishing on the podium in six of the nine races.
The third contender is the reigning champion, Robert Dahlgren (PWR Racing, CUPRA Leon Competición) who lies three points behind Huff; Dahlgren is also the driver who has scored the most race wins, three against Brink’s two.
They all will count on the support from their own competitive teammates in the final battle: Hannes Morin, who has just claimed his maiden victory last weekend at Mantorp Park, for Brink; Oliver Söderström, the winner of the season’s opening race, for Huff; Mikaela Åhlin-Kottulinsky, who has finished twice on the podium last Saturday, for Dahlgren.
Newcomer to the championship is the 30-year old Kevin Engman, a former title contender in the Swedish Touring Car Junior championship; Engman will took over the Brovallen Design Audi RS 3 LMS previously driven by Magnus Gustavsen, who could not make the trip from Norway due to the COVID-19 travel restrictions.
