TeamWork Motorsport rules in Ningbo Qualifying

The TeamWork Motorsport Volkswagen Golf GTI set pole positions for both the TCR China sprint races – Rounds 7 and 8 – that will take place tomorrow at Ningbo International Speedpark.
In Qualifying 1, Alex Hui set the fastest lap of 1:53.104, beating the MacPro Racing Team Honda Civic of Henry Ho by just 0.095 seconds, while Zhu Zhen Yu qualified the CUS Racing Volkswagen Golf in third position, half-a-second behind Wong.
Sunny Wong took over the TeamWork Golf for Qualifying 2 and imitated his co-driver by setting the fastest time, though he was nine hundredths slower than Hui (1:54.012). Second fastest was Zhou Bi Huang in the CUS Racing Golf (1:54.383) and third Eurico de Jesus in the MACPro Racing Honda (1:55.093).
The first appearance of the Xia Yi Li’s Freely Racing Alfa Romeo Giulietta in the series resulted in eighth position in Q1 (1:1:57.050) and ninth in Q2 (1:15.337).
The two sprint races will take place Saturday at 09:00 local (3:00 CET) and 12:40 local (06:40 CET); the 60-minute Race 3 will follow at 16:20 local (10:20 CET); they will all be streamed live at www.tcr-series.com.
