Tiago Monteiro to support Fugel in TCR Germany finale

Honda Team Sachsen has called in Tiago Monteiro to support Dominik Fugel in the TCR Germany season’s finale that takes place this weekend at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben.
Fugel claimed his third victory of the season last Sunday at the Lausiztring, a result that helped him to stay in contention for the title fight opposed to two Hyundai drivers. The Honda racer is currently third in the standings, 18 points behind the 2018 champion Harald Proczyk of HP Racing International and nine behind Team Engstler’s Antti Buri.
Monteiro will drive a third Honda Civic Type R car in addition to those of Dominik and his brother Marcel.
“Is great to team up with Dominik and Marcel for the TCR Germany finale; I’m sure it will be an exciting weekend!” said the Portuguese.
