Title showdown for TCR Germany at Oschersleben

Harald Proczyk (HP Racing International, Hyundai i30 N), Antti Buri (Engstler Motorsport, Hyundai i30 N) and Dominik Fugel (Team Honda Sachsen, Honda Civic Type R) will face each other in TCR Germany's title showdown this weekend at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben.
Last weekend in the penultimate event of the season at the Lausitzring, Buri and Fugel claimed one race win apiece, while Proczyk finished second and third in the two races and so retained the leadership in the standings.
Thus, the title fight was sent down to the wire, with Proczyk, Buri and Fugel covered by only 18 points when 53 are at stake. Proczyk leads by nine points over Buri, while Fugel has closed the gap to nine from the Finn.
Both, Hyundai and Honda have expanded their line-ups to support their drivers’ title bid, with Luca Engstler joining Engstler Motorsport and Tiago Monteiro racing for the Team Honda Sachsen. Although, as guest drivers, they are not eligible to score points.
Both races will be streamed live at www.tcr-series.com, Saturday and Sunday at 11:00 (CET).
