01 September 2021

Petr Semerád, the youngest winner ever of the Czech Rally Championship will make his Touring Car debut in the TCR Eastern Europe’s season finale at Autodrom Brno.
Semerád who is 20 years old was given the opportunity in the frame of the ESET Race Star project. In 2016, at the age of 14, the Czech youngster won the ESET Race Star talent competition that granted him the participation with Krenek Motorsport in the 2017 Remus Formula 4 Trophy in which he was placed third.
Later, he made a successful switch to rally, becoming the youngest champion in the Czech series. Last week he has competed in the Barum Rallye, a round of the FIA European Rally Championship, finishing a brilliant 11th overall in his Škoda Fabia R5.
At Brno, Semerád will take over the LEMA Racing CUPRA that was driven by Giacomo Ghermandi until the Italian switched to a Leon Competición in the previous event at the Slovakia Ring.
