2021 TCR Australia to conclude with 400km event at Bathurst

28 July 2021

The 2021 TCR Australia Series will conclude with a points-paying 400km event at Mount Panorama on 26/28 November.
The TCR Bathurst 400 will comprise three 21 lap races on the legendary 6.213km circuit, which are set to be the longest races contested by TCR Australia since its inception in 2019.
A unique format will see the Qualifying determine the starting places for Races 1 and 2, with Race 2 featuring a reversal of the top 10 qualifying positions. The grid for the third and final race will be decided by the points accumulated from Races 1 and 2.

Matt Braid, CEO Australian Racing Group said: “Mount Panorama is synonymous with touring car endurance racing, and it’s exciting that TCR Australia will be able to hold our own unique, longer form race format at Bathurst. The move to make the TCR Bathurst 400 a series round will ensure that TCR Australia’s appearance at the Bathurst International will be one of the true highlights on a weekend showcasing racing cars and categories with a global flavour.”
