ALM Motorsport expands to three cars in TCR Italy

Estonia-based ALM Motorsport expands to a three-car line-up for its second season in the TCR Italy championship. The team will continue racing Honda Civic Type R cars and after confirming Ruben Volt and Mattias Vahtel has signed Antti Rammo to complete its trio of drivers.

Volt and Vahtel were classified sixth and ninth in the 2021 Drivers’ standings respectively and were both able to claim one third place apiece in the Imola events.

Rammo’s TCR experience is limited to a couple appearances in this year’s 24H Series at the wheel of a Volkswagen Golf GTI.

“I’m really determined to achieve my first win in the championship,” said Volt.

Vahtel echoed: “The tests we have done during the winter said that we have the pace to fight for the top positions.”

“It will be an exciting year. I have a lot to learn, and it will take some time to get used to the team and the car, but I will do my very best,” Rammo concluded.
