After topping the first day of TCR Denmark test at Jyllandsringen, Massive Motorsport's Kasper H. Jensen confirmed himself as the fastest of the pack with a lap of 1:09.390. However, his time was matched by the Martin Andersen of Team Hyundai Denmark.
Jakob Mathiassen posted the third fastest lap of 1:09.805 in the Insight Racing Alfa Romeo Giulietta, just a bit faster than the LM Racing duo of Jan Magnussen and Nicolai Sylvest.
Mikael Markussen was the fastest of the Peugeot drivers in sixth position, followed by Jensen's teammate Kenn Bach.
Jensen commented: “It has been a great test for us, and it was good to see the initial performance of everyone. I had, perhaps, expected a bit more from some competitors, but it has to be said that we've covered more miles here than the other teams.”
Andersen said: “The car is great, but I still have to find the time to improve myself. So this is on my schedule for the coming weeks. Luckily, we’ve got lots of good data to analyse.”
The inaugural season of TCR Denmark will kick off at Jyllandsringen on June 20/21.
