BoP: lower ride height for all cars, but Honda and Hyundai

04 May 2018

The TCR International Series technical department has issued a new Balance of Performance.
The changes of the minimum weight concerned the Audi RS3 LMS DSG (+10 kilos) and the Cupra TCR/SEAT León TCR DSG (-10 kilos); but also the Peugeot 308 Racing Cup that received a 40-kilo break from 1265 to 1225 kg.
The main change was about the ride height that has been reduced by 10 mm (from 80 to 70) for all the cars fitted with a sequential gearbox except the Hyundai i30 N TCR and the Honda Civic Type R FK7 TCR that will continue running at 80 mm.
A further reduction of the ride height to 60 mm has been granted to all the DSG cars: Audi, Cupra/SEAT and Volkswagen Golf GTI.
This BoP is for immediate application, starting from this weekend’s opening events of the TCR Europe Series at Le Castellet and TCR Scandinavia at Knutstorp and the second event of TCR Russia at Smolensk Ring.
