Brink Motorsport re-signs Hannes Morin for TCR Scandinavia

After confirming the participation with three cars in the 2020 TCR Scandinavia, Brink Motorsport has retained Hannes Morin as one of its drivers.

“I'm only 17 and have many years ahead of me, but with the momentum we showed in 2019, I already want to take a step forward and claim some podium results in 2020,” said Morin who secured the 2018 European Karting Championship title and was classified eighth in last year’s TCR Scandinavia standings at the end of his rookie season.

Team manager Ted Brink commented: “We are very pleased to continue working with Hannes in 2020. He completed his first laps in a TCR car just nine months ago and has already shown his skills, despite his young age. We see him as a future championship winner and we will do everything we can to give him the chance to fight for the title.”

Morin will start his preparation for the new season by racing this week in the Dubai 24 hours at the wheel of a Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR run by Lestrup Racing.
