Costas Papantonis claims a double win at Dubai

Costas Papantonis began the new year in the same way he had finished 2019, by claiming a double victory in rounds 7 and 8 of the United Arab Emirates Procar Championship's TCR class.
At Dubai Autodrome, Papantonis set the class' fastest lap in Qualifying and the won both races ahead of his Mouhritsa Racing teammate Alexandros Annivas.
The two of them had a close fight in Race 1, with Annivas taking the lead for the first time; however, some electric issues forced him to stop for resetting the system and so he finished one lap behind.
In the second race, Annivas was again chasing Papantonis and finished a close second behind.
The series will return to Dubai on February 22, for Rounds 9 and 10.
