Duncan Ende skips Monza to upgrade cars

12 May 2017

Icarus Motorsports’ Duncan Ende will skip this weekend’s race meeting at Monza in order to upgrade the team’s two SEAT León cars.
The American has been driving a León TCR V3 fitted with a DSG gearbox that he will replace with a Sadev sequential unit.
“We've been suffering with performance a bit since the beginning of the season running the DSG ‘box. This was particularly pronounced at high speeds at Spa last week. Since the situation at Monza will be even worse we have elected to get a head start fitting sequential boxes in the cars so we can come out fighting for the following event at the Salzburgring,” Ende explained.
