Ghermandi to race in TCR Eastern Europe’s full season

Giacomo Ghermandi will compete in the full season of TCR Eastern Europe at the wheel of an Audi RS 3 LMS Generation 2 run by its own Scuderia Ghermandi in cooperation with Lema Racing.

The Italian driver returns to the Eastern European series after spending last year in TCR Europe. However, on top of this programme, Ghermandi plans to take part in three events on TCR Europe and three of TCR Italy.

“We have elected to return to TCR Eastern Europe for different reasons. The level of the competition has stepped up considerably, becoming the second most important TCR series in Europe behind TCR Europe itself, it will visit several iconic racetracks that always attract large crowds and, last but not least, it will be important in terms of scoring points for the TCR World Ranking,” Ghermandi explained.
