Igor Stefanovski returns to TCR Italy

Former FIA European hill climbing champion, Igor Stefanovski returns to the TCR Italy for the 2020 season.
The Macedonian driver will be at the wheel of a Hyundai i30 N run by his own team. Last year Stefanovski took part in selected races of the Italian series in a CUPRA, but now he is committed for the whole season.

“The championship benefits from a very good media coverage and the budget is affordable. The races are tough but fair and there is a family feeling in the paddock. I love Italy, and my family company imports Italian automotive products to Macedonia. We have decided to race here with the aim to promote both countries as safe places for tourism,” Stefanovski explained.
“If everything goes as we hope, we are also aiming to make a few appearances in TCR Europe.”
