Jan Magnussen with Auto Lounge Racing in TCR Denmark

Jan Magnussen will return to TCR Denmark in 2023, racing for Sweden-based Team Auto Lounge Racing.

The team will run three CUPRA Leon Competición cars and has confirmed its 2022 drivers Christian Skaar and Kevin Engman as Magnussen’s teammates.

“I am very happy to return to Danish motorsport again, and a big thank you to both Team Auto Lounge Racing and CUPRA Denmark for giving me the opportunity to compete in TCR Denmark for the full season. I have always loved the intensity of the TCR series sprint races, and I look forward to teaming up with Kevin, Christian and the rest of the team, who have already made a good impression in the championship,” said Magnussen.

“We are excited to welcome Jan to the team. With his world-renowned career, he brings experience from which we will learn a lot, both as drivers and as a team. We will give him the best conditions for him to be able to fight for the title. With our new driver lineup we feel strongly equipped to take on the fight,” said team manager and driver Engman.

Skaar echoed: “It is a huge thing to see Jan Magnussen in the team. The three of us agree that we must secure the team championship and that both Jan and Kevin must constantly be at the top. My own goal is to win the Trophy Championship.”
