Markussen in TCR Denmark with a Peugeot 308

Michael Markussen will join the 2020 TCR Denmark series at the wheel of a Peugeot 308 TCR run by his own team Markussen Racing.
Markussen spent the last five seasons racing in the Danish Thundersport Championship and his team is the second one in TCR Denmark to buy a Peugeot 308 in a deal made with the help from Danish Peugeot dealer and rally driver Brian Madsen.

“It’s a big thing for me. Peugeot is well known for doing everything properly when building racing cars. The Peugeot 308 TCR has proved to be a fantastic car, so I’m obviously very happy about this,” said Markussen who is eying participation in long distance races, or in selected races of the inaugural TCR New Zealand series. “I’m 100percent focused on being as prepared as possible for TCR Denmark. Taking part in an endurance race is definitely an option, but we are also looking into TCR New Zealand.”
