Ryan Eversley to start from pole in Virginia

Ryan Eversley won pole position for the third race of the Pirelli World Challenge at Virginia International Raceway.
After setting the fastest time in yesterday’s practice, the RealTime Racing driver topped the Qualifying at the wheel of his Honda Civic car with a lap of 1:55.483. JT Coupal was second fastest in the Compass Racing Audi RS3 LMS (1:56.102), followed by the current championship leader Mark Wilkins’ Hyundai i30 N TCR (1:56.297).
Positions between fourth and sixth were filled by the Audi of Jérimy Daniel (1:56.399), the Alfa Romeo of Martin Jensen (1:56.984) and the Volkswagen Golf GTI of Mason Filippi (1:57.541).
The second Brian Herta Autosport Hyundai of Michael Lewis did not post a valid lap time because the session was cut short by a red flag and will start from the last spot of the grid.
The first race will start at 14:40 local time (20:40 CET); live streaming at www.tcr-series.com and www.tcr-series.tv.
