Söderström joins Lestrup Racing for TCR Scandinavia

Oliver Söderström will return to the TCR Scandinavia series with Lestrup Racing; he will join Rob Huff to drive the team’s Volkswagen Golf GTI cars.
The 21-year-old Söderström made his debut in the series for Lestrup Racing in 2018 and secured third place in the junior championship, while last year he was runner-up in GT4 Scandinavia.

“It’s an incredible opportunity for me. It feels amazing to start my third year with Lestrup Racing and with Rob Huff as team-mate,” said Söderström. “I have a lot to learn from him and I hope to be able to take the next step forward as a driver. My goals are the junior title and some race victories.”

Earlier this year Söderström drove the Lestrup Racing Volkswagen Golf GTI in the 24H Dubai, when he claimed the pole position and a podium finish in the TCR class.
