Soubek joins TCR Eastern Europe at Slovakia Ring

Sandro Soubek will join the TCR Eastern Europe for the upcoming round at Slovakia Ring. The Austrian driver will sit in an Audi RS 3 LMS TCR run by MAIR Racing Östtirol, and he does not rule out the possibility of starting in other events as well.

“I’ll be racing at Slovakia Ring. After that, we’ll decide whether we’re going to compete at Brno and Hungaroring as well, but I think we will. We’ve bought the Audi and we’ll be working together with the same team that I raced for in the Renault Clio Cup Central Europe series. I don’t have big goals for the first races. There will be a lot of work for us, to find a good car setup. You need to take care of this car much more than with the Clio. Also, mechanics need a lot of knowledge. We need some time to learn and that’s the goal for this season,” Soubek said.
