TCR Japan resumes at Okayama this weekend

Takuro Shinohara (Hitotsuyama Racing, Audi RS 3 LMS) and Takeshi Matsumoto (Team Wakayama, Volkswagen Golf GTI) who had been fighting for the TCR Japan title in 2019 are still the drivers to beat.
They shared race victories in the previous event at Motegi, meaning that Shinohara is leading the standings in the Saturday series and Matsumoto in the Sunday series. 
They will resume their battle this weekend at Okayama International Circuit, where Rio Shimono (Drago Corse, Honda Civic Type R) will try to improve her brilliant results from Motegi, where she finished twice in third position and became the first lady driver on the podium in TCR Japan.
