TCR title fights go to the wire in Macau

28 October 2015

The maiden season of the TCR International Series will come to an end in the Suncity Group Macau Guia Race 2.0T on November 22.
And that promises to be an exciting grand finale, as both the Drivers’ and Teams’ titles will be decided on the treacherous street circuit that winds from the Ferry Terminal up to the Guia hill.
After the two races at Chang International Circuit in Buriram, where they claimed one victory apiece, Stefano Comini of Target Competition and Pepe Oriola of Craft Bamboo Lukoil are split by only two points. Oriola’s teammate Jordi Gené is still in contention, however his gap of 34 points from the leader does not leave him much hope, considering that 55 points are still at stake.
In the Teams’ Championship, Craft-Bamboo Lukoil has only 13 points of advantage on Target Competition, 95 being the maximum loot that can be scored in the final event.
Whatever the outcome, a SEAT driver and a SEAT team will be champions.
