Tom Coronel joins TCR South America at Curitiba

Touring Car veteran Tom Coronel will join TCR South America for this weekends’ endurance event at Curitiba.
Coronel will share driving duties with Rodrigo Baptista in one of Cobra Racing Team’s Audi RS 3 LMS cars during the one-hour race, third round of the new championship.
The team managed by former driver Flavio ‘Nono’ Figueiredo runs two Audi cars in the TCR South America series and claimed a podium results in the season opener at Interlagos, where Rodrigo Baptista finished third in Race 1.
Other pairs that have been already confirmed for the Curitiba race are Sergio Jimenez-Beto Monteiro in one of the CJ Motorsport Hyundai Elantra N cars, while Roy Block-Tim Lewis - fresh from their second place in the IMSA race at Lime Rock - and Fabio Casagrande-Jack Vance will drive the two Alfa Romeo Giulietta Veloce cars run by PropCar Racing Team.
