Twin Ring Motegi hosts TCR Japan’s second event

One month after the season opener, TCR Japan resumes at Twin Ring Motegi, hoping in a fairer weather after thick fog resulted in the cancellation of both Qualifying sessions and Sunday's Race 2 at Sugo.
Saturday's Race 1, delayed by the fog, was won by Takuro Shinohara (Hitotsuyama Racing, Audi RS 3 LMS) after a thrilling fight with Kengo Ichijo (BRP, CUPRA) and the reigning champion Takeshi Matsumoto (Team Wakayama, Volkswagen Golf GTI).
For the second event, the field grows bigger with the arrival of three other Audi cars driven by Jun Makino (Nilzz Racing), Kenji Suzuki (BRP) and Hideki Nakahara (Hitotsuyama Racing).
The two races will start Saturday at 13:35 local time (6:35 CEST) and Sunday at 11:55 local time (4:55 CEST); live streaming at www.tcr-series.com.
